Sausage shop reopens in time for Oktoberfest
Give it a rest, lighten up and have a beer and a brat. Seems like you have more risk of colon cancer from the stick up your bum than any sausage you may eat!! (Oct 11, 2008 | post #7)

Must be a computer mistake by Topix. (Sep 23, 2008 | post #2)
Azinger tells fans its okay to cheer when Europeans miss
Nothing wrong with a few Bud Lights when playing golf. You still shoot terrible and lose balls but you don't care as much. If it wasnt for the beers, my golf game would be downright miserable. Now it's just bad. (Sep 23, 2008 | post #16)
Azinger tells fans its okay to cheer when Europeans miss
Whatever, even in the worst of times, and these are not them, people look for distraction from their day to day problems, and golf is one of them whether you play it or watch. What sport isn't a child like thing to do? So please, I implore you, post your childish, conspiracy theory political opinion on an appropriate forum and leave us to argue if it's ok to cheer if the Europeans miss a putt. Opponents Argue Md. Slots Referendum Misleading
I agree, too bad the anti-slots people don't think so. Even if slots win, expect lawsuit after lawsuit to try to stop it. Must be nice to be getting all that support from gambling interests in neighboring states. (Sep 11, 2008 | post #2)
Words speak louder than actions for LPGA
They have plenty of time to get the policy right. They have succeeded in doing the almost impossible and get people talking about the LPGA. (Aug 31, 2008 | post #2)
Even without Tiger Woods, Golf Channel fans still tune in
Since it's a holiday weekend, the start of the tournament was Friday, so the usual network coverage of the 3rd and 4th rounds are on Sunday and Monday. NBC is covering. These contracts are written before the season starts so even if they wanted to pull out since no Tiger, they already bought in. (Aug 30, 2008 | post #8)
Shortcuts denied to beach-goers
And a new bridge needs to be built next to the two existing bridges. Realistically it wouldn't add more lanes just keep 3 open each way while the non-stop work and maintenance goes on. Then worry about building a new one somewhere else. (Aug 30, 2008 | post #27)
Shortcuts denied to beach-goers
I agree that they should have waited till after the weekend. An idea could have been to send tractor trailer traffic eastbound over the new bridge only and leave the 2 lanes on the old bridge open for car traffic only, with a lowered speed limit to exercise the greatest caution. Monday go to 1 lane eastbound and 3 lanes westbound. Tuesday, do what they are doing now and start repairs. I live in Cape St. Claire, so I agree that the roads belong to everyone. If I can help it I won't go out and add to the traffic, if I do I expect delays like everyone else. (Aug 30, 2008 | post #26)
Who's Golf's Greatest, Woods Or Nicklaus? - Sports News Story -...
Cal's record has nothing to do with golf. Cal was a great player but the record is not important to the modern player/team anymore. I am an Orioles fan and a Ripken fan, but there were many times that he should have sat down. The streak was incredible but it hurt him and his team at times. True no player will probably pass it because no team will allow another player to get into the position that the streak will be an issue. (Aug 27, 2008 | post #17)
Ballot wording links slots to education
Face facts. The anti-slot lobby doesn't want the people to vote on this issue because they know they will lose. Most of their money is coming from race tracks/casinos in our neighboring states. They are just looking for an excuse to tie this up in courts when they lose the election. (Aug 19, 2008 | post #1)
1 dead after rig goes off Md. Bay Bridge
I live in Cape St. Claire so I understand the amusement about the traffic. Saw the trailer on TV, looks like it stayed intact. No feast for the crabs. Might be a good place to drop some lines or pots though since it probably attracted them. (Aug 11, 2008 | post #6)
